Arendale
Statement Of Access
Our aim is to provide without exception a high standard of comfort and cleanliness as well as the quality you should expect from a three star accommodation thus ensuring our guests have an enjoyable stay at the Arendale.
We are situated in an Avenue of similar guesthouses to the north shore of Blackpool, which is generally known as the quieter side of the resort.  Yet we are in easy reach of the hustle and bustle of the town centre and entertainment venues.  Just one street back from the promenade we are within easy distance of the tramway and the bus service to the south (town centre and Pleasure Beach) and to the North (Cleveleys and Fleetwood).
Our six rooms are either full en-suite or have there own private bathroom a couple of steps away from the bedroom.
All rooms are decorated and maintained to a good standard and all have TV, hair dryers, complimentary trays and radio alarm clocks.  The rooms have individually controllable heating radiators, however, there are times especially in the summer months when the heating is switched off.  Should you feel a chill during this time please let us know, a touch of the button soon rectifies this.
There are sixteen steps to the first floor, which is made up of one double room with private facilities, one large double with en-suite and one family room with en-suite.
The top floor which has a further fourteen steps has a twin en-suite, a double en-suite and a family en-suite.
Your breakfast which is served from 8.30am (earlier times be arrangement) to your own table.  Please inform us of your dietary needs when booking so that arrangements can be made to purchase such foods.
We are not licensed to sell intoxicants, however, we have no objection to guests bringing in their own nightcap to their rooms.
Owing to the size, age and construction of The Arendale it does not readily lend itself for alterations to accommodate the physically disabled.  This is not to say that we do not cater for the disabled.  Our description of the property is given for the purpose of informing the disabled who then have an idea of the layout of the premises.  If they are able to cope then we will be happy to help in any way we can.
We do not have private parking facilities but there is on street parking or a public car park about 300 metres away at a very good rate.
As a result of continuing improvements in The Arendale and the care and service given to guests we hold a three star accreditation with Visit Britain.  While we receive great personal satisfaction on this achievement we are nevertheless mindful that ultimately it is our guests who decide our success by returning to us time after time.
